{"id":109,"date":"2026-01-06T21:38:15","date_gmt":"2026-01-06T20:38:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hoteldiplomat.cz\/?page_id=109"},"modified":"2026-03-12T23:57:50","modified_gmt":"2026-03-12T22:57:50","slug":"terms-of-trade","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.hoteldiplomat.cz\/en\/obchodni-podminky\/","title":{"rendered":"Terms and Conditions"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diplomat Hotel 4****<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The company Diplomat Hotel Operations s.r.o., ID No.: 230 75 562, with registered office at Evropsk\u00e1 2690\/17, Dejvice, 160 00 Prague 6, registered in the Commercial Register kept at the Municipal Court in Prague, file No. C 420996 (hereinafter referred to as \u201eHotel\u201c).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These Terms and Conditions govern the mutual rights and obligations arising in connection with or under a contract between the Hotel and another person. These terms and conditions therefore apply generally to all hotel guests and agencies with whom there is no written contract for the provision of services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. RESERVATION OF ACCOMMODATION AND SERVICES:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>reservation of accommodation and other services in the hotel and confirmation of this reservation by the hotel is possible only in writing, i.e. by email<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a reservation is considered valid and binding if the hotel confirms the reservation in writing (by email) or the guest receives an automatic email confirmation generated by the relevant online booking system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the reservation is completed by credit card or by paying a deposit equal to the amount of the accommodation and services specified; individual conditions may also be set<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>if the hotel or the guest fails to comply with the conditions set out in point 3 of this article, the hotel may not provide the accommodation and services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the information provided on the booking confirmation is binding on both parties<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. PRICES, CANCELLATION AND PAYMENT TERMS:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the price is per room per night, including breakfast, unless the guest chooses otherwise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>VAT of 12 % is included in the price of accommodation; city tax of 50,- CZK\/person\/night is not included in the price of accommodation, this fee is paid at the hotel reception<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cancellation of a confirmed reservation can also only be made in writing, i.e. by email; the exact method of cancellation is determined by the booking system used for the reservation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>when cancelling a booking that has been made through an external provider (e.g. booking.com), the booking must also be cancelled through that provider in the manner required by that provider and subject to the booking conditions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a change of reservation, i.e. moving the booked services to another date, is considered a cancellation of the original reservation and is subject to the same regime as cancellation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>accommodation can be paid in cash, where the hotel accepts CZK and EUR; in case of payment by credit\/debit card, the amount will be charged in CZK or in the currency of the client's credit card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>according to the Act on sales registration, the seller is obliged to issue a receipt to the buyer; at the same time he is obliged to register the received sales with the tax administrator online, in case of technical failure within 48 hours at the latest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise the guest's card up to the total amount of the accommodation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the hotel reserves the right to pre-bill the total amount of the accommodation to the guest's credit\/debit card provided, subject to the terms and conditions of the booking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>in case of no-show on the reservation date, the reservation is cancelled and the hotel is entitled to charge the costs according to the cancellation conditions of the reservation<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE GUEST:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the guest has the right to use the reserved areas and their facilities, as well as the facilities of the common areas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the guest is responsible for any damage caused to the room during the stay and agrees to pay for any repairs, replacements or special cleaning; the amount of the payment will be determined by the hotel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the guest is obliged to complain about any defects and possible deficiencies during his\/her stay in the hotel so that a remedy can be arranged<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the guest is obliged to pay the costs associated with the use of the hotel services, including additional services, on the day of departure at the latest, unless otherwise agreed; in the event of non-payment, the hotel is entitled to charge (charge) the corresponding amount to the guest's credit card after departure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the guest may withdraw from the contract on the basis of the cancellation policy or if the hotel has not provided the guest with the pre-agreed services corresponding to the standard of the hotel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>check-in time is from 15:00 on the day of arrival; earlier check-in is possible only by agreement with the hotel and at a charge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>check-out time is until 11:00 on the day of departure; late check-out is possible by agreement with the hotel and for a fee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the entire hotel is non-smoking; violation of this regulation and smoking in the room or on the hotel premises entitles the hotel to charge the guest a penalty of EUR 200 for cleaning the room or the hotel premises; the smoking ban and the related penalty also apply to smoking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>electronic cigarettes; smoking is only allowed outside the hotel in the designated area(s)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>between 22:00 and 6:00 is the night time; behaviour that leads to disturbance of other guests during the night time is strictly prohibited (includes loud music, television, shouting in rooms, corridors and other disturbing behaviour); in case of serious violation of this rule, the hotel may penalize guests with a financial penalty of up to EUR 400 or, in necessary cases, call the police<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the hotel is not responsible for abandoned, forgotten, lost or stolen guest belongings on the hotel premises, unless they have been taken into custody upon written confirmation by the hotel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dogs can be accommodated upon confirmation of the hotel for a fee of 20 EUR\/day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The hotel accepts no liability for damage to parked cars, for any items left in the cars or for the car itself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guests are required to present a valid credit card upon arrival to secure (guarantee) their stay.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In the event that a consumer dispute arises between us and the consumer under a contract of sale or a contract for the provision of services, which cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the consumer may submit a proposal for out-of-court settlement of such a dispute to the designated body for the out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes, which is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Czech Trade Inspection Authority<br>Central Inspectorate - ADR Department<br>Gorazdova 1969\/24<br>120 00 Prague 2<br>Email: adr@coi.gov.cz<br>Website: adr.coi.gov.cz<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE HOTEL:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the hotel is obliged to provide accommodation for the guest on the basis of pre-agreed services that correspond to the hotel's standard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>if the hotel cannot accommodate the guest on the basis of a previously made and confirmed reservation, it is obliged to arrange adequate accommodation for the guest in another establishment<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.
