The Story of Diplomat Hotel
Welcome to Diplomat Hotel Prague, located in Prague’s Dejvice district, in the heart of the diplomatic quarter and just a few minutes from Prague’s historic city centre. The hotel offers 400 rooms and suites, a restaurant, lobby bar, fitness centre and 23 conference rooms with capacity for up to 1,260 guests. Located approximately 12 km from Václav Havel Airport Prague and close to Dejvická metro station, the hotel is easily accessible for both business travellers and guests exploring the city.

Diplomat Hotel Prague has been part of Prague’s diplomatic quarter since 1989. Since opening its doors, it has been a place where guests from around the world, business partners, conference delegates and visitors to Prague come together.
Today, the hotel builds on its history with modern facilities, a wide range of services and a welcoming approach that makes guests feel at ease whether they are travelling for business, enjoying a family stay or visiting Prague for a short city break.

The hotel’s location in Prague 6 was no coincidence. Dejvice and the surrounding area have long been home to embassies, international institutions and diplomatic residences. The character of the district gave the hotel its name and shaped its role from the very beginning – as a place for international meetings, business travel and official delegations.
Over the decades, Diplomat has evolved together with Prague. A major renovation in 2019 gave the rooms and public areas a new look, with refined design inspired by Art Deco elements and contemporary standards of comfort. At the same time, the hotel’s history remains a natural part of its identity.
